Earth Systems and Environment Journal

Earth Systems and Environment (ESEV) publishes peer-reviewed original research and review articles on an extended range of topics related to the Earth Sciences and Environment. The journal is published by Springer in association with King Abdulaziz University (KAU), Saudi Arabia. The journal selects articles that contribute to our understanding of the structure and behavior of the interacting components of the Earth System (e.g. the atmosphere, oceans, cryosphere, land, hydrosphere, etc.). Special emphasis is placed on the physical and biogeochemical processes governing climate and climate change. The ESEV is indexed in SCOPUS (CiteScore 2019=2.0, CiteScore 2020=3.7 and CiteScore 2021=7.1) and Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), expecting to have its first Impact Factor in the year 2021.
